So here is the sitch good people.
There is Me, PlayerA and PlayerB.
Through play it is discovered/revealed that PlayerB is the IRL friend of PlayerA.
PlayerB is playing for the first time. This is PlayerAs third game.
PlayerB confesses that, "The game is not for me." And hands over control of his subs, drillers, outposts and Everything to PlayerA.
(Or simply just does everything PlayerA tells him too do because he does not care and could care less so why not just play FOR your friend right?)
My issue, and question about the matter.
At the tail end of day 1 early into day 2 of the game, PlayerB launches everything. And I sincerely mean EVERY LAST THING, drillers, specialists, and his QUEEN at a single outpost of MINE.
He did it because PlayerA said too, and because he just really didn't care.
Note: PlayerA is in his third game. He has two golds. "I" am in my third game. I have two golds as well. This started as a 10 player game. But no other player has any medals except one whom had a silver.
I still have my suspicions that PlayerA COULD yet be multi-boxing. But I am not here to accuse him of it, but ask.
In this situation? It seems to be a significant (and arguably unfair) advantage to have the complete resources and ability to throw away and/or derail your most (perceived) threat/competitor.
I KNOW I was deliberately targeted. And I will admit. I was rather sore at the start of it all. The sudden all out launch on me just put blood in the water where every opportunistic player near me jumped at the chance to take advantage of MY disadvantage.
It sucked. I got over being disgruntled and got down to not Playing... but simply SURVIVING.
My odds or clear opportunity for a "fair" game were Shot from the beginning. Am I upset that I lost the chance to keep my record clean with a fair shot at another medal? Nope. I count myself as winning having been able to avoid elimination in SPITE of being so clearly targeted and disadvantaged from the word Go.
So... is PlayerA multi-boxing? Eh... maybe not. But he might as WELL BE.
How does this fit into the Code of Conduct? I cannot report him. Yet I cannot help but think this is a clear violation of the spirit of the game.
Your thoughts?
