  • I was wondering, say you had used a hypnotist to get a second engeneer, could you put two of them in a sub with like, 100 drillers if you won, the fight would you get your 100 drillers back and be an industructible force

  • Yes. A sub with two engineers, if it wins combat, will give you 100% of the losses back.

A pretty powerful combination for attacking. To defend against it, a Double Agent would be especially useful as the defender gains two promoted specialists for the price of one. It could also be defended with a single Assassin, the attacker would need to decide if it's worth the loss of all specialists in the attack to carry it out.

  • Even better: If you get a third Engineer on that sub you would get 150% of your lost drillers when you win combat making the sub a perpetuum mobile. Although I think this effect should be maxed to 50% or maybe 75%.

I've never tested it personally but I'm under the belief that you can't manufacture drillers using the Engineer. You can't revive more drillers than were actually killed.

But if you use a Thief, then you will steal their drillers and then the stolen drillers will be repaired. So if you sent 100 drillers with 2 Engineers and a Thief against 100 drillers, you will come out with 115 drillers because you stole 15 from the opponent. The Thief can be pretty powerful if you pair him up with other driller destroying specialists.
