Capture timing question

If a sub captures an outpost containing the queen while the queen is on a sub in the 10-minute pre-launch waiting period is the queen captured or does she escape?

No she does not! I can tell you that from experience, and I caught it on film!
And so did the guy who I beat. Here's his video: http://youtu.be/4uu8w02Ck1w

This also means that there is always a 10 minute timeframe after the arrival of a specialist in which the defender can't move his specialist, right?

To be more specific: A player is sending his martyr to one of his outpost. With a well timed attack on this outpost the player wouldn't have a chance to move his martyr before combat begins? Or are do scheduled launches don't have a loading time?

Assuming nothing has changed since I last checked, during that 10 minute loading time the sub is still technically at the outpost and therefore would still participate in combat.
This makes sense for game balance. If this weren't the case, then I could dodge combat by "launching" my martyr 5 mins before combat, then cancelling the launch after combat.
So to answer your question: The martyr would still explode, yes.

I'm not sure about that. I think someone used exactly that trick to avoid having one of their specialists take part in a battle. I spent a little while looking for it, but I can seem to figure who did it... Maybe someone with a better memory can point us to it.

In one of my videos for the exhibition game I did the little dodge to save some drillers and a navigator. But I had launched it properly, then turning it around after combat was done.

Day 7, my video, at the 1:40 mark. http://blog.subterfuge-game.com/post/13 ... cast-day-7

That's it! You're right. I misunderstood the tactic.
