Refusing a Gift

  • Is it possible to refuse a gift? I can't really think of a scenario where refusing drillers would make sense, but it might with specialists.

I'm currently sending a hypnotist to a base with three captured specialists. Two of which I want, but the third, a king, doesn't fit with my defensive strategy. There's no way that I know to only recruit the two I want without lowering all my shields because of the king. So, I was going to gift the king to another player. Which got me thinking is there a way he could stop this- other than gifting it on himself if he didn't want it?

As far as I know there is now way to refuse a gift. But, as you already said, he can just gift it back to you or another player.

  • There is no way to refuse a gift,

I once had a really tight window to take an enemy factory. I had sent my drillers when they were at driller capacity and now it was going to land and lose the battle because the factory was going to produce.

So I sent a gift of drillers to an incoming sub of his so they would remain above capacity, not produce drillers, allowing me to narrowly take the outpost.
