Hi there! Whenever I view an opponents sub in progress, whether it be a gift or attack sub, the information tab that comes up says something like, "Combat in progress xx:xx" I expect to see a time there indicating how long until arrival but instead I just got a combat in progress timer and when the timer ends it just restarts at 8 minutes. However, one thing that could be happening: The time wheel can only scroll to 48 hours in the future. If a sub is slow enough that it won't reach its destination before 48 hours, the time machine cannot simulate its arrival. It will say "Combat in progress 10:00" and restart at 10 minutes over and over again until the sub is within 48 hours of its destination. Hope that helped!

I usually have this problem only on subs that will never reach their destination or if the destination is out of sonar range. Is it one of these possibilities? Also as mathwhiz said a pic would be nice.

Both subs that this has happened to me with are exactly like you said. Out of sonar range and the other is never going to reach its destination. Does this have something to do with it? And no, Math, both subs are within 48 hours of destination. How do I upload a picture?

You can view Stefan's post about uploading pictures at the top of this section or you can take a screenshot and scroll down a little to where it says "options" next to that it will say upload attachments you can upload your pic from there. But I would say the out of sonar destination and never getting to the destination is your issue. I don't know if it's a bug or just how the game reacts to these situations, but it is something you just have to deal with for the time being. I like to scroll in ten minute increments when this happens, if I am trying to optimize my timing. I is more annoying, but it can be worked around.

I believe that a martyr is considered never reaching an outpost, shown by the yellow dot in front of it. And yes, it happens for me with martyr as well.
