B wants A to regain control of his army as late as possible, therefore he wants the saboteur to meet the army as late as possible. Therefore he wants to launch the saboteur as late as possible, just before the army sub hits, and that's after the chump blocker 1d is smashed on the defender's shields.
Actually there is a glitch that will teleport your enemy's drillers back to his outpost when you sent the saboteur as late as possible, allowing him to send them back at you much sooner.
Anyway, back to the one driller method. For it to be effective you need to attack a generator, which is not defended by drillers, has no specialists but a single saboteur on it and is out of range of any other outpost that the enemy could send support troops from.
Let's just say I have never had that occurring in any of my games yet.
