Ive got few tips . These tips are for someone who gets the game now and played at least 2 games .

1- find "kevlar golem" 's post , I dont know who he is , but he is brilliant ! He has 2 instructions , one is about stratrgy and the second one is about specs rating (second one wasnt helpful for me)

2- after 4-5th game you understand that non-rating competitions arent good enough . So just either buy L2 or play in forums game . You think you are good? Win a game with more experienced people .

3- dont be stressed out or something , its gonna be harsh but just live with it.

4- diplomacy is more important than strategy.

And I think knights and squire sounds really awesome idea .

Brotip: Nav/Queen helps your queen not die if you're in a really nasty spot - you can just fly away, and wait for your ally to tell you a good spot to land.
Throw a Helmsman or Admiral on as well, to help dodge Pirates the enemy may be bringing.
