Just found this game. Does anyone have any tips?

Questions about rules, how things work, etc.

  • And there's technically two new Subterfugers now because I told my friend about this game and they've decided to start playing as well.
If life gives you lemons, you should make lemonade . . . And try to find someone whose life has given them vodka, and have a party.

  • I love it when people do that. Zyxe is the only super-dedicated player I've got but I've got at least 10 other people to join me in a game and 2 others of them play off and on. So yeah, invite your friends I ask people all the time to play this game.

  • Nobody I know will play.... They are more into the fast paced CoD games and not this where you have to think...

  • I generally like to play both kinds of games.

Join a game of subterfuge, then just check it in between rounds of CoD :D

That's what I would do, if I played CoD

I do that with TF2. I'm just going to quote one of Roadkiehl's player types, the marine and let that do the talking for me.

Wait, this one doesn't seem to belong. What is he even doing here? All he ever talks about is CoD, and he's launching subs at everyone. Oh, and the leetspeak and trashtalking in the public chat? Who even is this guy? At least you don't have to bear it long, since he autoresigns after the third day.
How to Spot: Oh, you'll know
Favorite Specialist: The Lieutenant. 'Cuz he probably carries a gun, unlike all these other wimpy specialists.
Mining Tendency: You can drill mines? Why would I want to do that?
Diplomatic Style: There's diplomacy in this game? Why would I want that?

I highly recommend everyone read this thread, or read it again just for kicks.

  • I love going back to that thread. It is hilarious every time. I check it about once a month just to laugh. And cry that roady is gone

Haven't read it in too long. I should go read it now.

And sorry for kinda taking over your thread, darkwizard. This happens a lot on the forums.

And use this link http://forums.subterfuge-game.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1000, it doesn't have all the weird highlights

  • That thread can be useful tho. Find your style and stick with it. I'm a shark, I attack straight out of the gate. I try and find a few piranhas (and guppies if possible) and use them to my advantage. Find how you play best and stick with it.
