So, I'm working with a noob, he's got a sabo, admiral, and 150 drillers heading at an outpost of the enemies that has about 30 drillers. Point is, he easily wins.

But, what if the enemy sends a driller at this sub? Will the saboteur activate, or is it only if the sabo is going to lose the battle? And what happens to the other specs?

I was able to test it, and my finding is: if the attack wins, the sabo DOES NOT go captive. It's only if the sabo loses the battle

Why would it redirect? Sabo clearly states that he will only redirect the enemy sub. If, at the end of the fight there isn't any enemy sub left, he wouldn't do nothing.

Y ah, that's exactly what I found. The battle log showed that he redirected, but my drillers would kill the enemies, and I would go through without losing him

I seen subs with saboteurs that win combats redirect themselves. It isn't supposed to be what happens, but it does sometimes. Plus, the strange teleportation bug happens occasionally.

Basically, saboteurs have some problems, and they often do not work as intended.

Sabos are really buggy, I hardly even use them seeing as they are strictly defense in my opinion
