Destroyed outpost

Questions about rules, how things work, etc.

  • If an outpost is destroyed by a martyr, can you still mine that outpost or is it basically an empty spot to house drillers?

  • I believe it works that way :
    • The outpost does not "work" anymore : no elec output, no drillers produced, no Neptunium mined
    • Shield is permanently removed
    • You can still capture the outpost : it will give visibility but will not contribute to Neptunium mining
    • Blowing up a mine does not induce the 20% penalty to Neptunium stacked, since you do not capture the mine

  • Benz is right. The only thing a exploded base contribute to is sonar range. You can still station drillers and specialist at it, however, it doesn't contribute to the NP gain or do anything else.. Also no shields.

  • Thank you. I'm new to the game and was not completely sure if the rules. I sent a martyr to an enemy outpost as a way to wipe out his drillers without using my own (or so I thought). He resigned while my martyr was en route. So I decided to gift the martyr and set a bomb up to protect my east front. Oh well. Live and learn

  • Just a heads up, straight up sending a martyr is a terrible idea. All the opponent would need to do is send 1 driller to blow it up on route. Just watch out for that
