Me and another guy launched at Haik, but we have the same ETA right down to the minute. The time machine is alternating between win and loss, and I don't know what to believe. Should I bail from Haik?

If you are winning in the part of the 10 minute cycle where you hit, but if you're losing, then bail.

There's another sub of 70 coming in that I want to suicide the thief on. The time machine shows me beating the 52-sub every time now, but I have a scheduled pirate launch from Haik after, that's flashing.

I popped in just as the battle was "in progress", suddenly i was about to lose!
Thankfully i had a hire available, so i elected to promote a king right away. Haik is secure.
