Double Agent and assasin VS Kings

So I currently am in a game where I've been forced into one factory and I have 3 kings and around 280 drillers. One of my multitude of enemies is preping an assault force with a double agent and assasin. If he attacks my outpost and I'm able to kill all his drillers with my king will his assasin still kill all my specialists?

Double agent? Just send a 1 drill sub at the DA. Poof, problem solved.
If it's just the assassin, yes, you will die IF THE ASSASSIN ARRIVES AT YOUR BASE. Doesn't matter if you kill the drills, the assassin does the deed. So just send a sub to hit his without specs. Sub to sub combat with drills counters assassin.
