In a recent anonymous game, i was red and brown who was next to me nonstop gifted things and gave me outposts which I thought was ok because we were allies. But then orange who I actually know said that brown had told him i was his alt account. Other people in the game thought believed him and threw their game and alliances with me just to get at me because they thought I was multiboxing. I know that it was anonymous and I can't really do anything, but if this happens in a normal game what could I do to prove I wasn't? To summarize someone pretended to be an alt account and tried to ruin the game for us, and essentially did

People doing this is pretty annoying. The only thing you can really do is tell everyone that you aren't multiboxing and hope they listen to you. It'll be pretty difficult to do though. The other thing to do would attack him and try to eliminate the one who was gifting you everything, even though it seems counterproductive

I did exactly that but 1: no one believed me. And 2: he would simply disable the shields and gift the drillers or specialists and it just made it look more like I was

Then I guess you can't do too much. He just wants to screw with you. Wish there was a better explanation or defense against it, but there's not too much you can do, other than hope it wasn't a ranked game

On the other hand. You were playing a game with someone you know. Which can technically be multi-boxing if y'all are working together. Just my opinion.

But he said he wasn't. Someone else was pretending like they were.

And also, even if you know the person IRL, you aren't technically always going to multibox. We've seen that from some forumers, they play together but will still attack each other

Not really. It's only multi-boxing if you join the game intentionally to ally with them playing with people you know on its own isn't a problem.
