Will pirate chase sub that goes out of sonar range?

Scenario: Player A sends sub carrying navigator and pirate to player B's outpost having queen. Player B sends the queen to an outpost outside player A's sonar range; but player A changes course of sub (using navigator) and aims at the sub carrying queen (using pirate).
Question is: WILL PLAYER A's SUB CHASE PLAYER B's SUB AFTER IT'S GONE OUT OF RANGE?
