Inactivity?

Questions about rules, how things work, etc.

  • Rules say 48 hours of inactivity leads to autoresignation. What counts as activity?

I am in a game now with a player that was just autoresigned and shows he was on 5 hours ago.

He has only 4 orders I could see in the past 48 hours, so they could have all been future orders.

Does a time machine order only count as activity when you place it?

  • from my game, I understand that the inactivity clock starts ticking as soon as you go offline. even if you resign, your future orders are implemented.

  • It is possible that the player had been online in other games and not your game. However I would probably send an email from in game and get it checked just in case. If there is a bug it’s nice to get it sorted even if you weren’t the one directly affected.

  • In activity means no moves had been scheduled or sent within 48 hours. So I've had inactivity warnings at 16 hours for not doing the things mentioned above.

Warning: Chat does not count as activity.
