From the discussion I had with crowebot, the Specialist hires available differs between Android and iOS. On iOS devices, it seems to be possible to beat the puzzle with the Donatu Generator intact, but on Android devices it does not seem possible. At least, the solution that saves Donatu on iOS is not viable on Android, that is.

I'm running the game on ios and have the following options at the start of the puzzle:

1st pick: Navigator, Saboteur, Martyr.
2nd pick: Helmsman, Sentry, Pirate.

Do these match up with the android version?

1st: Navigator, Saboteur x2, Martyr
2nd: Foreman, Sentry, Helmsman

They do appear to be different, yes.

So I have figured out how to get rid of the subs attacking the intelligence officer, and I can even get rid of one of the other subs, but I can't figure out how to get rid of the elder sub.... Am I doing it all wrong? Can someone who had solved it pm me so I can tell them what I have so far? Thanks!
