On the iOS I was able to control Kyburz in the end but I did give up control in a point in time and I did not win. Does maintaining control mean I have to control Kyburz the entire time?

So, to be clear -- if the sub with the Revered Elder carries 55 drillers, it's impossible?

That's where I'm stuck. If someone out there has beaten the 55, please speak up and PM me what dark sorcery you must have used.

I don't think it's possible to maintain control with 55 drillers. The calculations in the solution simply state that there would be too many, and it would overwhelm you. So as far as I can tell you, it is possible, but you need to be up against fewer drillers (45).

Well thank god its a bug then. Because I have been looking at my phone for about 1 hour and couldnt solve it haha I was getting pissed off.

Im still stuck with Android, can someone Pm me and help me out? Been on this for 3 days, I got the Kobayashi maru in about 30 minutes...

omg. i've spent several hours on this, only to find out there is a bug that makes it impossible.

to make matters worse, near the beginning of my attempts, i came to the forums to get some hints, but instead decided that i wanted to try it on my own.

So did you get close? If you only had 10 drillers left, you know you'll be able to solve it when the iOS update gets through Apple's mechanism!

oh yes, i know exactly how to solve it with 45 drillers on the elder sub. that changes everything.

i was actually able to sacrifice Kyburz to the second sub, and then regain control of it later, which is arguably harder than the intended solution. but obviously that breaks the win condition of maintaining control of the outpost, as gregorioe stated before.

Oh my lord it's so easy!!!!! The solution ... It's just so elegant

(Tried for the last 2 days to figure it out, once I read one of the posts here I started looking more closely and figured out that the Elder isn't as all-powerful as I thought heh)

Can someone pm me a hint...spent days on this and its driving me nuts
