Can't toggle anything in the funding column in this map. Is this a bug?

Seems like the obvious solution would be to fund our allies. But I have no mines, no means of getting mines and therfore no means of getting the 20 Neptunium. I also have no way to interact with the opponent as they will get to the base before me.

So either I'm stuck or it's bugged.

There's another way to have your friend start production again. As the in-game hint suggests, they would need to have a generator. Maybe you have one for them?

I'm trying to complete all the tactical puzzles before I try a real game, and I'm on Diplomacy 3. It's says to fund my ally and I opened up the Intelligence Report panel and it won't let me find him. What do I do?

Ran into the same issue as ucross: The in-game hint is wrong, it specifically refers to the buttons in the Funding column (which don't exist). The actual solution (as @stefan hinted) doesn't involve this though.

Anyone else reading this: ignore the in-game hint, just read stefan's message above.

FWIW (devs), I'm seeing this on the iPad version in the US; and the version # is 420.

Admittedly I've not worked this far into the puzzles. That said, are you at least 20 NP ahead of said ally?

Hi there, I moved your question to the dedicated Diplomacy 3 discussion topic. It's possible that there's a bug where the wrong hint is displayed.

Can those affected send an e-mail from within the game, so that the devs will know on which OS and app version this happens? Thanks!

Ok, I'm seeing that now and the hint is now absent.

I guess this was fixed in the last version (though there currently is no hint).
