Completely stuck on this one. There seems to be no way to intercept that sub with the large amount of drillers. Queen takes too long to capture :/

There are two specialists needed here. You can read up on their abilities here:

Now as you say, there are two problems to solve:
1) How can you intercept that large sub? Which specialist can do that?
2) That's an insame amount of drillers, which specialists can be used to eliminate those?

If you've solved how to deal with that large sub, you just need 1 more sub of your own with enough drillers to take over the mine. Which sub with more than 30 drillers can you get there ASAP?

So, I stopped the sub and took the mine it says I won but it doesn't clear. Am I missing something?

Man, give me a hint.. from what outpost you encountered the sub?

There are three outposts you have to consider, and only 2 if you take into account my hint about more than 30 drillers.

If we start posting really clear hints for these puzzles merely days after release, there's really no challenge left. Also, some hard puzzles are coming up so this should be a good practice!

Thanks for the responses! I was thinking so much about how to utilize the 1st hire that i gave little thought to the next hire. Once i read how all the specialists worked i got the combo and it clicked.

I am having trouble trying to use the pirates ability. How do I use it? I try to target my sub or the enemy but I don't know how.

Your pirate has to be hired and at the outpost you want to launch your sub from. Then, instead of dragging your finger from that outpost to another outpost, drag it from your outpost to the enemy sub. More specific, the location it will be when your sub will meet its opponent. You can see that the path the enemy sub will take, is being traced on the screen, so follow that.
Then, your sub will be displayed with the pirate already added.

(Note that since the other sub is approaching Adria, it's possible that when your finger is close to Adria, your sub's destination will snap to that outpost. Just be very careful to target the sub.

All of this is assuming that you need to use the pirate which I'm neither confirming or denying.
