Noel just said a balance patch is a 'good idea' on Twitter

Just shooting the breeze

  • It truly surprises me how much people talk about Kings and whether they are balanced or not- These things have been said in 6-7 other posts, its not new material.
The best analogy I can think of is a dog that keeps licking up its own vomit to just to huck it back up whenever somebody mentions a stacking specialist.

Yeah. But 'the Devs' said they may do a balance patch. So it's not a legitament discussion.

But seriously. I hope they do a balance patch.

Yeah sure it isn't new matieral, but ideas are developed each time...
It's like facebook status trends, you see those one's with like "would I....." and then a bunch of options things going around about once every year.
Each time they're basically the same, but they're still viral. Why? Because people change.
I never posted my mathematical comparison and I certainly didn't think of the idea to have 'advanced' settings.
Psychologically, the brain does that without you thinking about it. This is how Eureka moments come about after days of trying to solve a problem, etc. And then when you are doing some of the most normal things such as stepping off a bus or brushing your teeth your brain suddenly has an epiphany. These things...

  • People Change- But specialists do not. If the Infiltrator has changed his bio and added something new to his list of favorite anime I haven't noticed.
Point is this topic of Kings has been exhausted- I guarantee calculations of the Tycoon have been done before in some form or another in some other Stacking specialist dealio.

Uhhhh the point that specialists don't change is like the fact that facebook status trends don't change.
The idea was that ideas develop as we change......

  • Trends are constantly changeing...
My point this is not like a trend. It is an exhausted topic. Comparing a constant to something that can and does change constantly is a silly comparison.

People can only talk about a single never changing thing for so long before everything that can be said for it has been said.

  • I mean, the emphasis is really on the ideas here. New ideas can come about even though a thing never really changes. Otherwise how would mathematicians have proven Fermat's last theorem after 3 centuries of resistance?

  • Mathematics is an abstract concept loosely based in reality that can be expanded apon nearly indefinitely.
A Specialist does not change and resides in an set enviorment where only so many things can happen with slight variation.

    Again not an accurate comparison.

  • By your standards no comparison is accurate. (can you come up with one which is?)
Let me not use any comparisons then.

I had just thought of the idea of 'advanced settings' this time. If this topic had not been brought up again I would never had though of it.
