I don't know if you get this, but a joke is only funny for a little while. Jokes actually die pretty fast, even faster when you steal them from someone else. Math made the joke first, taking nit's (and then nojo's) signature. But when you do it, you aren't funny, you're honestly just being a bit annoying. It is nothing against you, it's just knowing when to make the joke and knowing how far to take it.
My recommendation for you, before you do something, ask "has it been done before?" and then "does this bring anything new to the table that will actually work?".
