If you're being funded, and you have more np/day than those funding you, you can watch the production of your factories to accurately calculate when you'll lose funding (that's only if nothing changes. If outposts are taken, it'll change a bit)

If you open the intel reports in a rated game and tap where it says "Neptunium (goal is 200)"", it will show you how your rating will change if the game were to end at that moment. Try it!

If you have vision of an opponents queen, and it flees into the fog of war, you can still find out if it's using or stacking hires. Go back to the point it was last visible, select the queen, then go back to real time -- it will show you how many hires the queen currently has available.
