I am aware that most likely this will either spiral into a subject not remotely close to racing or just die out within the first 10 comments.

Lap 26: Carl Edwards has pulled away and built a gigantic 4 second lead, Kevin Harvick started 20th, up to 12th right now.

Lap 30: Competition Caution. Among those who lost most positions: Aric Almirola, Brad Keselowski.

Lap 37: Edwards pulls out a 4-tenth lead over the 78 car, Matt Kenseth takes 3rd away from Joey Logano.

Lap 54: 78 car is getting back closer to Carl Edwards, Truex cuts lead down to half a second.

Lap 196: After pulling out an 8 second lead earlier in the race, Truex is back chasing Edwards, with a half a second lead separating the two. Edwards is looking to be pulling away by half a tenth a lap.

Lap 202: After a horrible race, the 2013 champion Brad Keselowski is about to be put two laps down. He's had speed, but due to bad luck regarding debris, he's about to be two laps down again, as he was earlier in the race but recovered one of them due to having fresher tyres.

I'm watching last weeks race. I usually like to skip commercials so I'm recording it right now. I'm rooting for Edwards I can say that. Hope he does well but don't spoil it for me.

I literally could not care less about nascar. I'll stay out of this convo

Judging by how the race is going right now, you should be very happy.

It was great. I heard he got the pole. I would be watching now but the rain delay made it so everything I had recorded was prerace stuff. Maybe tomorrow I'll watch the race. Are they at lap 20-ish right about now.

What time is it for you now? It's only 10 pm right now for me.

Although most probably not staying up till 1 AM-ish, specially if the rain comes back.

Same time. And it's too bad he race was delayed because it will be very late by the time there done. Luckily recording tv exists so I can watch it later.
