They've started! Opening ceremonies were last night/earlier today. Anybody else watch them?

I only watched a bit of the end. But the one thing that bugged me: they didn't have Pele run the torch in. He's about the biggest athlete ever in Brazilian history, but they shove him out.

I heard it's been a flippin' trainwreck so far.

I really enjoy the Olympics.
I have had it on every day, though mostly just in the background; I love the gymnastics and the volleyball, and when those come on they get my full attention. Oh, and Usain Bolt - that guy is bonkers fast and it is so fun to watch him.
