Designing a Card Game

Just shooting the breeze

  • I am going to print out the game again on some card stock to make it more solid. I noticed the treats were pretty small the time I printed them out. Can you enlarge them a little bit so they are easier to handle?
My faith has found a resting place,
    Not in device or creed;
    I trust the ever-living One,
His wounds for me shall plead.
    I need no other argument,
    I need no other plea,
It is enough that Jesus died,
And that He died for me.

  • A-

I wouldn't print it out yet. After the other nights' play test session, there are some things I need to fix and balance. Hopefully by the end of the day today Ill have it right - but still working on some interesting changes as well. I'll keep u updated.

Supreme leader TopKilla it's been a while since I've seen your face. No doubt you've been attending to important matters?

Oy! Comrade! I can assure you that the matters that I, Supreme Leader; TopKilla, have been busy attending to have been of the upmost important. The actions have been for the good of all! And have especially had a direct effect on my own well being!

I regret to inform you comrade, that these matters require the upmost secrecy! So I can not share the details of these critical issues!

But rest assured comrade! I am in good health and still around! In fact, I have again felt the urge to annoy myself once more! Be on the look out for my newly hosted game!

  • A -

Sorry it's been a busy week.

After playtesting the game with some randoms, there were some more flaws, as expected. So I've been tinkering with some ideas, trying to make the game simpler in terms of components and rules but just as strategic. I think I have something down - I wrote the rules, just updating the PnP. When I post the new version, you're going to be surprised because it's not much like the previous version at all. The theme stayed, it's still a card game, but the actual mechanics are completely changed. I hope this update makes the game more fun and less complicated.

I hope to have it posted by the weekend.

  • It's updated!

It's a completely new game, same theme - but new game.

    Thanks.
