Very easy to defeat in a pure 1v1, but that's almost never the case, so be very wary of his support network: the allies he talks up are fiercely loyal to him for no apparent reason.

It like to comment on this (so pick either me or silver to talk about next) I'd agree 1v1 with math isn't the hardest fight, yet his allies will always kill you (aka me) he just had a way with people making them trust and help him exactly when and how he needs it.

    I know :)
So time to comment on Nojo?
    Well.
Always pleasant chats with him. You won't have a boring game with Nojo in it. He doesn't like lots of action, but when he has solid allies, he makes his way up to top, but silently. He is a beast at domination matches to find the perfect opportunity. And somehow I never saw him get gangbanged.

  • so i have nojo math and silver?

    Edited:
I have nothing good to say about Roozbeh. Played a game with him where he was constantly trying to connive against me. When I called him out on it and sent 100 subs in his direction he called me a backstabber and ranted. I have never had the displeasure of playing with such an arrogant asshat. You are not as good as you think.

    Nojo
I've had the pleasure of playing with nojo through a series of casual and forum games. most notably, a group of non rated games with me him and jany where we would simply destroy all the n00bs and laugh as their dreams were crushed. fun times. nobody thinks nojo is the best of strategists, but what he does have going for him is intelligent, genuine diplomacy and a likeability that far exceeds anything i could offer. Nojo is one of the original forum regulars and will forever be a legacy in the subterfuge community.

    Silver
I've also had the pleasure of playing quite a few forum games with silver - including but not limited to fractal drillers and USA vs CAN. In all instances silver proved to be one of the most generous allies and competent strategists. His specialist choices are classic and modest - he plays a bit of everything, making him hard to predict as an opponent. If i ever have the chance to team with silver, i always do.

    Math
Oh math. It's been up and down with no ragrats. In all honesty i don't find math to be a completely honest player in his diplomacy. i've never teamed with him and i likely never will. but in all instances, math has proven to be a mature and level-headed opponent. We've had our spars but we've also had our laughs. Keep playing 20 games at once dude, never change.

I think it's supposed to be only the person right above you, but I guess it doesn't really matter.

With that said, I have bangerz.
Originally, I thought you were a pretty good guy. Hadn't played with you that much, but from what I saw you were a very good strategist. Then we had our couple fights, and I did despise you for a while, but I'm over it by now, and back to thinking you're very good. You are aggressive, maybe almost a bit too much, as it sometimes leads to a lost temper. However, when you get in the zone, it's almost impossible to beat you. You must have some sort of excellent diplomacy skills to end up getting everyone to attack me :P Overall, you are an amazing player, there's no way I can deny that

  • Math : to be completely honest , you know I dont like you :P and although you know every last detail of the game , you are not in the 100 top list of players and you are shady too .
(In all games we had that you get attacked at the start , I planned it and I don't regret it :D )

And for bangerz , as I said earlier to him (when he eliminated me ) , he deserves his rating completely and he is more or less the best player I know and he didnt back me up in my argue with danny . (Although danny is now my best bud in the game)
He was a fine player :D
    RIP rooz!

(Im alive , just stopped playing !)

  • Roozbeh - just one or two games with him in it have I played. The NoJo vs Radio game was the main one, but we hardly fought (good old V3XT). But by all accounts you are a decent player, and at one point really touched off the Kings are OP debate into high gear for a few weeks.

Decent guy for certain, and a canuck to boot from what I recall.

  • Radio is one of the most enjoyable layers to play with, even if I wanted to turn him off. I haven't played him In a while but last time he was a fantastic tactician and a force to ensure reckoned with. I'm not exactly sure how his diplomacy is but he is never short on allies. He tends to mine a lot from what I remember. Radio is a fun guy true and true

  • Thanks NoJo!

NoJo may love this game more than anyone I know. I took a multi-month hiatus and expected to come back to a completely new set of players and forum regs. Nope - dude keeps us all together and humming.

As for his game, he is good for sure but I know he has another gear in that head of his when it comes to his tactics. He just needs to unlock it.

Always an enjoyable game, friend or foe. And I'll always feel bad for absolutely dismantling his team in the captain vs captain game way back....actually I don't feel all that bad about it! Turn of the Radio? Come on, man!!

Next person talk about radio, I just wanted to comment on this.

I feel like this is mostly true. The games radio and I have played together are light hearted, casual games fake the most part. I don't spend as much time planning and thinking in them as I do rated games. I normally don't go into "second gear" even for ranked games. However, in around 10-15% of my games I do actually sit down, and play the game how it was meant to be played. Cheers!

  • I played a golf tournament a couple weeks back. One competitor said to me afterward that they had choked because they couldn't handle the pressure. They said 'I should have pretended it was just another round of golf on the weekend', to which I replied - perhaps you should pretend every round is a tournament round instead!'.

    Deep thoughts, by radioactivity.
