Inspired by XKCD much ? His word-replacing comics are pretty good :o)
    One of them : https://xkcd.com/1288/

You like xkcd too!!! My signature was the "assumed" comic for a while.

  • Oh man, Munroe's What If book is amazing if you haven't read it Nojo.
I'm highly suspicious of your motivations.

My favorite What if's are the the ones where you build a physical periodic table of elements, and relativistic baseball.

Do either of you have Thing Explainer, also by Munroe? He explains complicated things like the International Space Station (Shared Space House) and nuclear reactors (Heavy Metal Power Building) but only uses the 10,000 most common words in the English language. It's really funny and interesting. Here is an example: https://xkcd.com/1133/

I do indeed have Thing Explainer! My favorite section is when he describes the LHC as the 'Big tiny thing hitter'. It's surprisingly informative.

  • Yup, have the What If book and I believe I read all the xkcd. I love number 1000 (weee, only 24 more for a round number ^^) and the Goldbach conjecture. Wish we'd see more of the hat-man though.

Today's comic on the server rooms was great.

  • I find it funny that this thread has switched over from welcoming g-complex to just talking about xkcd. At this point you guys could just make your own post in off-topic and social about xkcd and it would be one of the most active.
Zyxe? Now that is a name I haven't heard in a long time.
