Since yesterday was Subterfuge's first birthday, I thought it would be a good idea to have a list of why we love and/or hate subterfuge. I'm going to assume its been done, but I want to hear one reason why you love it, and one why you hate it.

Let the games begin:

Love: the ability to absolutely ruin someone's master plan and eliminate them
Hate: when ^ happens to me

Love: When I get a Sentry Hire right after a Princess Hire
Hate: Watching my 300 driller death sub getting whittled to 47 by 3 sentries.

Love: Having three generals and doing that combo and destroying 200 enemy drills, without a dent.
Hate: When a smuggler rolls out of the Fog of War and defends your attack

Love: Finding the perfect specialist combo for destroying your enemies
Hate: Having an absolute trash 1st hire

Love: the conversations with most people
Hate: the conversations with the people not included in the love

Love: Tactical planning
Hate: Getting non-sharky hires (Also, when people dont know what a shark is)

Love: enables me to look in a serious and concerned way at my phone while in a meeting
Hate: that actually got me fired

Love: Hiring a bunch of kings and smashing people.
Hate: When people use that 'strategy' stuff to beat me.

Hate: Everyone sees my hires and stomps me instead.
Love: Fend off a bunch of attacks and survive for another day
Hate: Neighbor outsmarts me through diplomacy and wins without even attacking anyone.

Love: Having a game full of newbies that i ca easily manipulate.
Hate: When i have too many specs that are only good when promoted but keep on getting good hires so i never have the chance to promote them.

Love: The board game feel of subterfuge that most apps/pc/console cannot deliver
Hate: When you are losing miserably and are just turtled for 3/4 of the game

12) toggy
Love: watching a guy lile bangerzz execute some master plan on youtube
Hate: the many hours afterwards questioning why ill never be that good xD

13) ekozak1
Love: The portrait orientation and the fact that the game consists mostly of typing and tapping allows me to play all I want in public and everyone will think I'm texting or doing other respectable social things while really I'm carefully plotting the death of my enemies.
Hate: Getting ganked

Love: When I get a Sentry Hire right after a Princess Hire
Hate: Watching my 300 driller death sub getting whittled to 47 by 3 sentries.

I love that feeling when you have three generals, and that combo everyone loves and you destroy 200/300 drills without losing anything of your own
I hate when you lose specs in transit due to a smuggled in pirate assassin.

This sounds like it could be a fun off-topic and social game.

What is this Shark stuff I keep hearing about you?

Haha, ugh...I don't wanna find is url. It's a player type created by an old forumers named roady (seems weird roady is "old forumer" now...) the shark is aggressive. He fights and makes war often. Very offensive in strategies and specialists. He'll be the first guy to attack in almost any situation. I play like that. Hence I'm a shark. If you search player types in the forums you should be able to find the thread which mentions all kinds of player types.
