  • The first song is Imagine Dragons-Believer (Courtesy of Math).

The first three seconds of this song is golden the build up and small drop, soo good. It has a mini rap verse that really flows, if that is your cup of tea. Although the chorus is the weakest part in my opinion, the 4 verses below really piece it all together

First things first. I'mma say all the words inside my head. I'm fired up and tired of the way that things have been.

Second thing second. Don't you tell me what you think that I can be. I'm the one at the sail, I'm the master of my sea

Third things third. Send a prayer to the ones up above. All the hate that you've heard has turned your spirit to a dove

Last things last. By the grace of the fire and the flames. You're the face of the future, the blood in my veins

  • What does it........mean? I mean ok, PAAAAAAAAAIN! But what does that have do with believing? And who is the believer anyway? For meaning, I'm gonna have to go for a 3/10.

The music is self was decent, and did compliment the more emphasized parts of the song. But it wasn't great. I'm gonna give it a 5/10.

Bring us to a rating of: 4/10
My faith has found a resting place,
    Not in device or creed;
    I trust the ever-living One,
His wounds for me shall plead.
    I need no other argument,
    I need no other plea,
It is enough that Jesus died,
And that He died for me.

Two Steps From Hell - Big Sky

The first few seconds help to establish the tone of the piece - a slow, swaying tune guided by a violin and a guitar. From there, the tune starts to feel expansive and empty, as though you were slowly trudging through an endless expanse of featureless countryside.

The chorus by this narrative resembles a marching mantra, a pattern repeated briefly to make the endless march a little more bearable.

My mother, when asked, said it was more like trudging up a mountain alone on a cold night, with a flute cutting in to the tune occassionally resembling the howling of wolves.
There is no avoiding war; it can only be postponed to the advantage of others.
