Games will be randomized before we start
As you all know Tk's cup failed. It failed badly. It went south for two reason.
1) It had 9 games in it.
2) Even though it was l2 only, most people who signed up did this. "Oohhhh look, a tournament, i want in." Never check forums again
I plan to fix these problems by:
1) Only 2, 3 or 4 games. Depending on attendance
2) You need a minimum of 20 posts on the forums (PM if you have less but still want to play)
3) All games are balanced mining (I think TK had a gen heavy domination game *Shivers)
Qualification
1) 10 games played, minimum
2) 20 Forum posts
3) L1 IS ALLOWED (You're welcome Aclonicy and TW)
4) I will employ some trusted people to host some of the games.
Two game bracket w/ 20 players
Game one, round one: 10 players.
Game two, round one: 10 players.
Finals: Top 5 players from each game play here for victory
Three game bracket w/ 30 players
Game one, round one: 10 players.
Game two, round one: 10 players.
Game Three, round one: 10 players.
Finals: Top three players from each game fight in a 9 player game for victory
Four game bracket w/ 40 players
Quarterfinals.
4 games of 10 player. Balanced mining
Semifinals.
Top 5 players of each game move on.
Game 1 vs Game 2 players battle (This is game 5)
Game 3 vs Game 4 players battle (This is game 6)
Finals.
Top 5 players from games 5 and 6 play in one last game to see who the victor is.
