  • Half of the players chose generals, and yeah we are still like in the early game, slowly going into mid game.

I'm not surprised. I thought the lists were pretty imbalanced:
The King list is almost worthless; you would definitely have plenty of dead hires - only 6 available specs?
    Tycoon is only slightly better.
General is good, but doesn't get the speed of the smuggler or the helmsman.
Admiral is fine, and Engineer is only slightly worse.
Security Chief got ripped off. He can't have any other promoted hires, which every other list includes, even though HE APPEARS on three other lists (King, MoE, WH).
MoE and WH are the weakest specialists on their own, in my opinion, but they have the most options.

If I were playing, I likely would have gone MoE or WH, just for the flexibility.

Got any predictions? I'll open up the betting and set line odds, if you want.

Someone's name that rhymes with "Mojo" is going to crush evryone. But not his allies. Mojo & allies will destroy.

    Niverio actually rhymes with Mojo.

I went MoE just because it has the least restrictions, and I don't even have a MoE yet. The difficulty for me will be choosing which 3 promoted specialists to use.

Yeah. I think I actually like WH a little better, because DA & INF & Thief are less useful than assassins and saboteurs, in my opinion. But yup, I am not surprised that our great minds think alike here, Panda. ;)

Yup, he is currently in 1st with 17 outposts. However, he hasn't drawn any specialists yet since he is trying to beat us without. Seems to be working remarkably well.

  • Oh wow! Unlucky though, that I didn't get a chance to join as by the time I tried joining the game had filled up.
Well I would greatly appreciate it if someone could show me the game afterwards (it's the first game proposed by me that caught on in ESG, and I would love to see how it went!)
