Ok well looks like I actually hosted this thing. So here's a doc if you want it. Top 3 per game advance, please make it a mining, balanced, non-ranked, non-anonymous map.
Person at he top of each of the lists is the host, so can you guys just set up the games, unless you don't want to in which case I can find someone new.

Also: I made these games as random as possible. I got all the names on the spreadsheet, blacked each name out, and dropped them in that way. So please don't get mad at me if a power couple/trio found themselves together.

Didn't realize simply saying I was on the forums made me get a place in the tournament
But I guess I'll play

What would be the format of the tournament?
8 players per game, top 3 move on - something like that? Or would it be only the "winner" that moves on?

Regardless, I'd play.

This kind of thing sounds awesome to me, but it seems that only players I've seen post in loads of other threads have commented. Is this tournament limited by rating etc., or can anyone play?

Haha we'll probably be hard pressed to find enough to make a full tournament. If you want to play, then I'm sure TK will let you

This is a listing of the tournaments previously organized by forum members: THE TROPHY CASE: TOURNAMENT/FORUM GAME RESULTS.

As you can see, the forum "regulars" are certainly well represented here, but there are also lots of other players who play in these, as well.
In addition, while some of the regulars indeed have an impressive rating, many of us do not. All are welcome (even L1s, sometimes).

Alright. Lets do it. - Lets shoot for 24 players.

For now I'm thinking:
First Round: 4 Games of 6
* 1,2 spots in each game advance to the final round.

Final Round: 1 Game of 8
* Winner Takes All


I don't know how many players we can get. 24 may be a stretch as it is.
