Yeah, I don't think this would necessarily make the game better or more fun. Niv just asked how to balance the game, and I think these are the best ways. Also, giving everyone the same quests would only work with an extended length game; that would give everyone a chance at the specific specialists they might need to get.

  • Just out of curiousity, is this still happening? Or did we decide to not do this because of complications?

  • It will be done but I am way too busy right now, that's why I hadn't set it up, couldn't list the quests yet.

  • It does? Since when?
My faith has found a resting place,
    Not in device or creed;
    I trust the ever-living One,
His wounds for me shall plead.
    I need no other argument,
    I need no other plea,
It is enough that Jesus died,
And that He died for me.

  • AND I AM BACK BOYS!
In the end, I decided to divide the quests in such fashion. In the honor of the Hide And Seek game, I will be combining it to this game (not exactly same, see below).
Instead of dealing with unfair quests, there will be two quests for everyone.
Everyone will have a key outpost, which will be an outpost of somebody elses. The 9 key bases will be common knowledge, but players won't know who has which base.
This key outpost is what the whole game is about: the points will be divided like the following :
The game will last 10 (+1) days in total. It will be done that I will drill 2 mines simultanously at Day 01:00, with 10 outspot, and the game will end exactly in Day 11, 00:00. In the meantime, everybody will get points everyday (except day 1) for the following:
1 point if you have vision over the key outpost.
1 point for each day you had the base in control (anytime during that day, even if you hold it for 10 minutes you get that day's point) and if you can hold your key base without ever losing control in that day, you will get one extra point. For example if you can hold your base for 3.5 days, you gain 4 points for the 4 days you control, 4 points since you had vision on it, and 3 extra points since you controlled it for 3 consequent days.
The most point guy wins! Everybody, jump aboard.!
