[Game Idea] The Swap

The Swap

Rules of The Swap:
1) there will be a 24 hour ceasefire to start the game, during which time you must take any and all outposts nearest to you.
2) after this 24 hours, stage 1 will begin
3) before you are allowed to continue onto stage 2, you must fully swap your outposts
a) this means is that you must get rid of all of your starting outposts, and move into a totally new set of outposts. Once you have completed that, you may move on to stage 2
4) upon reaching stage 2, you are allowed to play as normal. That includes attacking players in stage 1 and 2
5) players in stage 1 are permitted to attack those in stage 2, however:
a) if while in stage 1, a player drops to 2 outposts, they must resign
b) oppositely, if they rise to 20 outposts (can be changed based on number of players) they must resign
(game will be played in domination mode, which is why rule 5b applies)
6) you are not permitted to do a straight swap with another player
a) this means you can not give all of your outposts in exchange for all of someone else's. You must take from at least 2 people
b) this leaves you the opportunity to be creative in a 3 way swap
7) you are allowed to eliminate anyone at anytime (other than during the 24 ceasefire)
8) ONLY stage 2 players are allowed to win. Referring to rule 5b, you can't have more than 20 outposts or you'll have to,resign, so even that will stop any stage 1 players from winning. But, to be more explicit, only 2s can win

Problems. There isn't a big enough incentive to reach stage 2. How about, stage 1 people can only START a war with other stage 1's, and defend from stage 2. Stage two can two what they want

Regarding rule A? (Might be 3) to completely swap outposts, somebody has to take yours. So what if nobody wants to take yours?

I'm in if the rules become more defined.

Sorry, maybe I didn't explain the rules quite well enough. It deleted my original post.

You are ONLY allowed to win if after reaching stage 2. You can't win while in stage 1

You may need to initiate a spec trade/donation to get your final,outpost gone, but that's up to your discretion ;)

Thanks math. Just realized we went over this in game. All the best ideas come from boring bus rides while you are staring out the window
