So in all forum organised games and tourneys, players would get Tournament Score based on how they did. These points would be tracked here.

And they would be assigned like so in games, from 1st to last:
10 player: 20/16/13/10/8/6/4/2/1/1
9 player: 16/13/10/8/6/4/2/1/1
8 player: 13/10/8/6/4/2/1/1
7 player: 10/8/6/4/2/1/1
6 player: 8/6/4/2/1/1
5 player: 6/4/2/1/1
4 player: 4/2/1/1
3 player: 3/2/1
2 player: 3/1

Obviously this would change in gamemodes like true winner, final countdown, etc. Tournaments would be counted as normal games are. Hope you like my ideas, this would act as a forum leaderboard based on skill at the game as opposed to reputation, which right now is the only way of knowing who's a better player - or a kinder one. Hopefully this helps.

Why am I tied with colt? I thought I beat him

Well, me naut and colt got a free pass to finals, so do we get 0 points?

Keep in mind we tied in the Turtles (which I believe sheep shouldn't be considered a winner in considering he was eliminated)

Haha it was just a joke man, you've probably beat me in most of the games we've played

Why do I have two points? I placed way higher than 8th in the tourney game.

I'm a bit confused on the scoring system here. Assuming I understand this correctly, If I plays lots of games but only do mediocre in all of them, I can still have a comparable rank to somebody who's played a few but came in very high. (So Math had a 4th place advantage.)

And why am I at two? How are you calculating the current scores?

Sheep can you stop with all these threads meant to organize the forums, we like it unorganized.

I'm completely ok with organizing the forums, but just adding a scoring system isn't really "organizing" anything. The atmosphere here is already very casual. We don't have hundreds of players playing all types of games, we have 15 ish people. And we're all pretty close from what I see. I know the abilities of most of the players already and know something about each person. I'm an insanely competitive person, but I don't really need a forum points system to let me know that. Also, there have been numerous scoring flaws pointed out already so I don't need to go into that. I just really don't feel we need a ranking system among one another, I like to play games with you guys, competing is fun, but I don't need a points system. Interesting idea, but not really the right community for a points system.
