Hello players! We have some updates on the future of Subterfuge:

1. The generous benefactor of which we spoke in our previous post is Albert Reed, a long time Subterfuge player and among the earliest testers of the game. Al is not only inheriting the game from us and continuing to operate it, but he's also a game developer and is looking at the possibility of continuing to improve it (more on that below).

2. Al has updated the game to meet google's latest requirements and the Android version of the game is now back on Google Play (thank Al!): https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... subterfuge

3. Al has set up an official discord server to discuss the game and its future. Please join him here: https://discord.gg/JuY78Htrfj. He is in the early stages of researching how to update the game with bug fixes, balance updates, and new features. He needs your help in identifying and prioritizing everything and looks forward to hearing your thoughts in discord.

Hello - I’m Albert Reed, Subterfuge’s new caretaker. If that name is strangely familiar, that's because Ron and Noel kindly named some of the outposts after early testers…I’m “ALBREED”. For a couple of years, I’ve been working on a game that is heavily inspired by Subterfuge and when I heard Subs was being closed down I begged the creators to let me keep it going.

I can’t say for sure what will be possible with my limited resources but I expect to keep the game going for many years to come.
