The following excel table is the first ever STOC Subterfuge Tournament Leaderboard .

Um I went to look and it gave me a 404 error message. Is the link still active?

Yup I have updated the web link!
However I am still in the process of updating the leaderboard.
connor3491 is the only real seed on the leaderboard right now. (Because he has played in 3 tournaments)
I also need the final standings of each player (and preferably the results of each game) from the Holiday Tournament. Last time I checked they weren't there.

  • Very organized, feels like a guild or union .
How are the rankings determined? I'm not sure from which tournaments the rankings are determined: Topkilla's, your's?

  • I really appreciate the effort of everybody to optimize the organization of future tournaments. Tournaments are really fun! The Devs are also working on that, so probably it will be much more easier than in the future, meanwhile thanks to all the organizers and hosts!

  • What do you guys think of an anonymous tournament? I though of this idea. How I would set things up is not post the brackets on the page, instead ask for hosts, and send I invites out to their game, so they don't know who is in their game. I don't tell them which game number they are. For my game, I would post the link on the forum and people would join, me not knowing who they are.

    Pros: no pregame alliances
    Randomness and mystery

Cons: maybe tournament host way of invites will turn against me
No way of monitoring who joins

Do you guys think this is a good idea?

  • I also thought about an anonymous tournament. It would work best if you used a third party, who wasn't in any of the games to send out the invites. People would sign up by sending a PM to the third party. Hosts would be selected from those messages and send their invite link to the third party, who would then send it to the participants. This way no one would be able to identify the Host or anyone else. They wouldn't even know who was in the tournament until it ended. The hard part about this is organizing the second game, as people must send the third party proof that they are actually the winner.

I'm trying to base it on all tournaments which I think are acceptable. (right now they are the holiday tournament, topkilla tournament, thunder's 2v2 tournament, my tournament, and the spring cups)
