    You don't need to pay it to play though, so it shouldn't be a huge obstacle. People can still try out the game for free at least.

    Yeah I got my dad into it and he got second place as L0 in a group of 8 with 2 L2s and a few people who have already played multiple games but are still freebies.

    Figured out taking a break was very hard, and I joined a new game quickly after the tournament finale was over. :oops:

    I almost did the same... That game was draining.

  • I believe releasing translated versions of the game in non English regions will help significantly, I am Taiwanese and I enjoy the game a lot but it is difficult to get my friends to join the game because of the language barrier. Maybe start with translated rulebooks.

    That's a good idea but for the devs to go out and hire a translator cost money, and would only serve an extremely small segment of the player base. However, I bet if an upstanding member of the community emailed the devs with an offer to translate the rule book, the devs might link it on the rule book page.

    Now if only there were such a person out there who could read/write both Taiwanese and English...

  • I avoided playing over Christmas. Hard to dedicate yourself to war when you have to entertain family. ;
