Strategy, feedback, or anything SUBTERFUGE-related

  • It seems that the General Forum is quite a large catch all for the game, and most everything game related ends up in this category, including discussion about non-game things like the forum itself. It would seem helpful if the forum had a half a dozen or so subcategories to make things easier to find and get help. I assume the powers that be who have better understanding of the game and know how this forum works would be able to separate into categories such as "specialists" "resources" "rules questions" ""rankings", etc.

  • I also wouldn't mind seeing a section for "specialist ideas" and one for "tournaments" to keep things organized a bit more.

  • I made some suggestions to the devs but since Ron is on vacation, some decisions are delayed.

Personally I do think a Tournament and a Game Recap subforum would be nice.

"Rules questions" topics would be fine in the current "Questions" section, and I'm not sure what you mean with a "Rankings" section. If you mean game invites for ranked games, maybe a "Game invites" section could include both tournaments and invites like these? There's a fair chance half of the topics will get little response, if they're not original ideas, maybe?

Specialist ideas / feature requests would imply that the devs are fully open to this, while instead they've posted a pretty clear roadmap that will hopefully lead to better monetization combined with added features. So maybe these better go directly to the devs through email for now. ;)

  • The word ranking was just a suggestion. I'm sure others more experienced in developing forums, or who are more familiar with the game could think up more categories instead of just the one big one.

    thanks for listening.
