Looking for other 4x games like Subterfuge.

Strategy, feedback, or anything SUBTERFUGE-related

  • Soon after finding Subterfuge I realized there was a whole genre of games like it. I just made an account for Neptunes Pride, and I hope I will enjoy the game. Any other *multiplayer 4x games that you guys play? *I'm looking for something really simple, like subterfuge. Neptunes pride is even looking a little complicated.

  • I really haven't found many. Although, there is one game called Empire Attack (PC) that is kinda fun. If you wanted to play NP2, some of us forum regulars have tried it out, and we might (maybe) join you in a game

  • There's the Civilization franchise. 5/5, highly recommend. And if you like that, there's also the Total War franchise.

  • I used to play the browser based game, Travian. Since I stopped playing, I was looking for a game similar ever since.

I went to Game of War, and then Subterfuge which I find perfect with the week or two week games.

Game of War (k2, NJA) was horrible because one wrong misstep and you're essentially reset.

Subterfuge - one wrong misstep you start anew with new knowledge.

In Travian, the world lasts 1 year. Attacking another player could take a real-time week of foot travel for your army.
