Game mode suggestion "No Man's Land"

  • Only the outposts held by the players at game start can hold any function. All dormant outposts are pre-destroyed (like with a martyr) but can sill be settled for the purposes of sonar and driller holding.

    This mode would work with both mining and domination, with special emphasis placed on specialist selection as dormant outposts are effectively useless in this mode, but surprise attacks are made less likely by necessitating direct attacks.

    This would require a map adjusted such that outposts can come up pre-wrecked.

  • welllll, there's an ESG idea I thought of which was quite similar, the idea was that no-one could ever own any dormant outposts.
