Specialist Display

  • While not normally a problem, sometimes you have to many specialists at one location and viewing them becomes a little messy, as shown below. I'd like to suggest a different way of showing specialists. Instead of having them displayed in a line, the icons could be arranged in a circle around their outpost. That way, when you have a lot of them, they would still be close to their respective outpost. Also, perhaps if you have multiples of the same specialist, a x2 could be displayed over their icon. In the case of the image below this would reduce the amount of icons shown by 8.

  • wowww....
actually I think they should just stack the same specialists on top of each other so if you had 6 assassins the other 5 would be partially covered by the first and etc. The reason they can't have specialists in a circle is becasue they have to have room for captured specialists as well....

  • True, but you could have the captured specialists be the bottom part of the circle. They're greyed out so you wouldn't get them confused. I'll have to make an image to better display what I mean at some point.

That could work, but what happens when there are too many specialists? I don't think a massive circle around outposts is any attractive, it would clutter the UI way too much.
I think a clickable/tappable 'folder' for outposts having more than 5-6 specs is better, which would open up a small window, listing available specialists. One for yours and one for captured.

    EDIT: Rough mockup below.

  • I think the speciliasts at an outpost should 'at least' be arranged with the same ones together
