  • The fastest you could possibly go with a single specialist is as a retreating Pirate - You will move at 4x speed to your nearest friendly outpost after engaging in successful combat with another sub. Otherwise, the Smuggler has 3x speed when traveling to a friendly outpost.
    Single driller subs are usually used as Martyr deterrents or for receiving gifts.
    When attacking an outpost with a Sentry, consider attacking a nearby outpost belonging to the same enemy as well - the Sentry can easily escape there at the last minute, so cut off escape routes.
    Also, when attacking an outpost with a Sentry, attacking in subs of 20 drillers, one after another. As the Sentry takes out 5% every 2 hours rounded up, you will minimize losses, as the sentry will do max damage of 1 driller every time. HOWEVER, When attacking an outpost with a sentry be aware that if you send your drillers in groups of 20 the enemy can promote to a war hero and destroy all of them.
    The Queen cannot hire while on the move, but can still promote specialists that are on outposts.
    If an outpost you are attacking has a Saboteur, consider having a Revered Elder on the same sub to prevent having your attack stalled. Otherwise, you can send an Assassin one tick ahead of your main attack sub, which will guarantee the death of the Saboteur (unless the enemy has a Revered Elder).
    There is no need to add any drillers to a sub with a Double Agent when attacking, as drillers on both sides will be destroyed when the Double Agent gets into combat.
    The radius of a Martyr's blast is 3.5 hours at a 1.0 speed factor, so if you wish to reinforce a destroyed outpost, leave at least 3.5 hours between the martyr's launch and your reinforcement's launch.
    The radius of a standard outpost is 27 hours at a 1.0 speed factor.
    Capturing a mine while in enemy territory is a two sided blade - you can destroy 20% of their NP, but if they recapture the mine, you will lose 20% of your NP.
    Because of trickery and deceit, when performing a trade, only gift once the other party has gifted (or gift at the same time). It is best to be online when a trade occurs.
    Resources are going to waste by staying at driller cap. Find a way to trade, wage war, or mine when nearing or hitting the driller cap.

    EDIT: added warning for attacking sentry with 20 driller groups, and added time radius for standard outpost.

    Feel free to add to or question any of these! Remember that this is a beginner's quick info guide, so don't delve into advanced combat, combos, or diplomacy here. The main point is for beginners to be able to quickly identify certain scenarios and give them basic tips.

  • I thought the admirals global effect stacked. If so then you could possible have 15x movement speed but this is basically impossible unless everyone gifts you admirals.

    Imagine having 15 tycoons (1 production every 56.5 minutes), or 15 kings (for every 3 drillers your kings destroy 15 drillers)...... wow lol :lol:
