Strategy, feedback, or anything SUBTERFUGE-related

  • I will chime in.

I was "brown's" ally for much of the game. I'm pretty sure that whatever roadkiehl experienced, my experience was 100x worse since we were teamed and coordinating strategy.

"I send sub to your generator X in case I need it"
"It's just plan b in case I need it"
    "Hey you there"
    "I need it, drop shield!!"
"I'm about to cap I need it"
"Now I send sub to your generator Y"
"Don't worry it just plan b"
"Okay I need it be sure to drop shield"
    "Did you drop shield"
    "Did you drop shield"
    "Hey"
    "U there? drop shield"
"Hey I need your security chief"
"I'm gonna get in war with teal and need the chief"
"Look at his production he very dangerous"
"Please can I borrow sec chief"
    "Why you build a mine"
"Don't build a mine! I will fund you"
    "9 min left to cancel"
    "8 min left to cancel"
    "7 min left to cancel"
    ...etc...
    "1 min left to cancel"
    "Y u no cancel now I can't fund you"

Even though it's far from my best self-interest in terms of winning the game, I've decided to attack him. He has now finally stopped messaging me. I'll probably lose my chance at top 3 for the decision but honestly it's one of the best Subterfuge decisions I've ever made.

Better yet, maybe he drove someone to resign.

This is his second game, so I think it may just be inexperience or immaturity. I can tell you two things, though. 1. It has worked for him a couple of times in this game. 2. Everyone wants him eliminated now.
If he is doing what you're saying, which is fairly probable, it's going to end badly. Maybe he'll learn his lesson? I told him exactly what he did to upset me, so he can't claim ignorance in the future.

actually it was a trust test on you road. you are simply untrustworthy guy in the end.

You're not serious, are you? If this is your way of finding good allies, good luck.

I believed you when you said it was worse for you, but... Dang. That's borderline harrassment right there.

From what I can tell, 'brown' is crisismana?
That almost makes no sense at all... Why aren't you the same as you are on the forums?
Seriously, if you want to devise a 'trust' test, please don't do it this way. Not only is it very annoying, but it will probably get you killed.

It is getting him killed this game. Or at least out of medaling.

  • If we are talking about the same game and the same brown, then I was there too. Surprisingly, brown did not bother me at all. I had pleasant conversations with them until my defeat and departure of the game.

  • Love the idea of a Mute button for specific players only. Ideally it would mute the notifications but if I could still see the text that would be beneficial... in case for some reason they decided they had something better to say.

  • Haha! I was also in the same game, and was allied to brown.
And yes, my conversations with him were probably around the same severity as with 6payh.
It involved a lot of him asking for gifts, a bunch of outpost swapping, specialist gifting, and chatting me as soon as my dot for being online appeared. I probably got a score of messages from him. Per day.
I knew he was a new player (only had completed 1 game), so I tolerated him (and trusted him not to backstab me). In my POV our relation was that of a substitute teacher to a kid who asks a hundred questions every class.
