  • One mode I thought up a while back is that your only specialist hire is a martyr. Just imagine the chaos of everyone only being able to hire martyrs!
    Zyxe? Now that is a name I haven't heard in a long time.

    Yeah I've often wondered what would happen in a normal game if every outpost was blown up...No winning by mining anymore :roll: / no more outposts to take for domination :P

    Haha, I think it would be a draw...unless all the queens manged to survive, then i have no idea.
    BTW, can a normal game end in a draw?

    As for Events, I'd like to see something with specialists. Like, every hire rotation has a pirate (for talk "like a pirate" day, of course!), all specialists are picked at the beginning of the game, or randomly selected specialists.

  • What about a game where the only specialists available for hire are assassins? Queens would constantly have to be on the move.

  • Here are a few ideas. Some are possible in the game and onthers are not.

    1) you get all specialists that come up in the hire window but hires are 3 times farther apart.

    2) thoust shalt only speketh in ye olde speech

    3) you must fund everyone you can

    4) your queen dies after 3 days of being in first place and having more than 100 np

    5) you must gift a sub of at least 20 drillers to the player in last place every day

    6) after a player is eliminated you cannot launch attacks on the remaining players until of the eliminated players territory has been recaptured by someone else

    Any thoughts?

  • 6) after a player is eliminated you cannot launch attacks until of the eliminated players territory has been recaptured by someone else

    So technically, if there are no attacks on the outposts when they are eliminated/resign, there is no way to get that outpost again?


    More ideas:
    -only public chat. So do you say allies publicly, or no allies at all?
    -choose specialists, but after every hire/promotion it gets randomly swapped with someone else's specialist. Potentially with one on a sub attacking someone.
    -automatically seeing the entire map. It happens in small games a lot, but being able to see the entire thing in a 10 player game.....
    -actual teams. No backstabbing, if you send a sub to your team it will change to a gift no matter what, etc.
