how to convey a story of subterfuge?

Strategy, feedback, or anything SUBTERFUGE-related

  • @braxo. haha, that game was really interesting, would have been a great game for stories. at one point i had 13 tier 1 specialists and 4 tier 2. :P i've been scrubbing time forward and back over and over again watching everyone's moves. that pir/nav/sab combo with the diplomat out of sight was really frustrating and took me a little bit to get figured out.

  • After thinking about it, these stories can be a real problem for those who write it, because it reveals how you play and your ennemies can take advantage of this. There is no anonimity for the moment, so they can learn who are your allies, if you play with them with in other games, your specialist's favorite choices, or even how you manage your alliances ...

  • nneil,

Then a viable strategy would play with a different style so that in future games, people will think they have your actions as predictable but in fact they don't.

I briefly had this concern as well, but if people know your reputation, play style and how successful you are, then players may be more incline to work with you instead of against you.

  • That was a great game, Braxo! Definitely the best game I have been apart of in terms of analyzing—the leaderboard changed drastically and the sentries got super out of hand.

  • I'd love to help out with this.

Can you make a "Subterfuge stories" section of the forum so they're easier to find and won't clutter up the General forum?

  • you can actually organize your own game like this, and start a new topic for your game, the subject can indicate that it's a "game story"

  • Android users can join as well.

Today, Google released version 1.1 of the Youtube Gaming app, and it allows you to record screenplay of your apps, including audio commentary.

    Notes:
    * It will post them to your own Youtube channel, so you'll be giving away your Youtube account name.
    * There's a circle that will always be in view, overlaying the game. It shows your Youtube profile icon, or your face if you're using the front facing camera. The commentary bit can be a feature, but I guess people would like to be able to hide the circle all together.

The Youtube Gaming app is officialy US only, but if you download the app from APKmirror, it will work in other countries.
