This strategy can also be used to deny enemies easy travel if placed properly

  • Sentry and range extension is good synergy, but Champ is right that the increasing the range too much can lower usefulness.

Pirate and Navigator is pretty great.

Add a Helmsman or Admiral (or a pinch) and a bunch of drillers and you have a very good offensive tool. If you instead add a Martyr or Assasin you have a very hard to beat queen killing rig. (Navigator and Martyr are also great.)

In a defensive position, the Diplomat and Saboteurs are pretty great. In offense the the Diplomat with Assassins and/or a General are also great.

Double specialists are often amazing. General, War Hero, Theif, King, Engineer (my favorite) all work great in pairs. Double Admirals double the speed of all your regular specialist.

Engineer paired with a Thief is amazing, especially when with a Helmsman or Admiral.

    No it doesn't.
I saw someone say it does, so I wanted to correct that: the martyr's range isn't dependent on sonar. It's a set radius.

EDIT: I'm an idiot, and the person was right. A martyr's blast radius *is* dependent on sonar.
This is the last time I skim over specialist descriptions...

  • well if you included your opponent sending speicalists as a 'great combo' then you'd have a double agent against a saboteur and anything else. As long as there's a saboteur. Make sure you send a single sub straight after your double agent tho, because then your double agent gets converted back onto your side :D

  • I put this best moments, but I ended up being teamed on by the whole 7 other peiple, so I sent all my subs back to home base and beefed defense and ended up getting second.

I had 500 troops, 2 kings, 1 princess, 1 Intel officer, and 1 sentry. It was impossible to attack because if you sent 1000 troops they would get destroyed on the way haha.

actually if I were to send 1000 drillers I'd send 20 on every sub and wait 10 minutes between every sub (that way the sentries only destroy 1 per shot). Even better I'd just send a martyr + navigator hahaha

  • Its a good combo but very situational. Pirate+sabateur, smuggler+helmsman both solid t1 combos with multiple applications. For t2, king+security chief and tycoon+minister of energy are both amazing.

  • I did this! By the endgame I had 2 Princesses and 2 Sentries on one outpost. As well as 2 intelligence officers! I could seen the entire map! I also counted the number of kills my sentries racked up. 357!
