The REAL problem of the navigator

Strategy, feedback, or anything SUBTERFUGE-related

  • Sounds like your opponent attacked with a massive army, with well thought out spec combos. That's not really an argument that there's a problem with the Nav.

  • I want to clarify that these combos were from two different players. Second, I do not find it problematic that I am under attack from a big force, I find it problematic that this force which can be seen from 36 hours away can simply come, do not care about my outside outposts and come straight to the heart of my empire. Normally if navigator wasnt there, it would be insanity of course, because your opponent might have a sabo, martyr, double agent etc. But the navigator bypasses these "counterplay" actions. Maybe I am just pissed off that all my hard work in those 10 days just went for nothing (actually not nothing, I got silver, but still gold would be better :p) just because some guy managed to put 3 specialists together.
Imagine how stupid the average person is. Then realize that half of the people are even stupider than that.

I find that is just the way the hires and strategy work. A global hire and fast expansion leaves you stretched out and open while a specialized sub will leave that sub strong but won't impact other drillers that much. In the end you will have to figure out how to balance out your specialist with diplomacy and deployment strategy. It is always a risk attacking someone, maybe that next hire you can't see will be a counter to your strategy. From the other players perspective it gives them something to do. You can be down but not out.
