    Yes.
If you are the only one within the next 20ish hours, then there will be two games with 5 in one and 6 on the other, so I encourage anyone else to join!

Having 1 code for everyone would allow for anonymity.

The PM's to join could apparently be sent through a 3rd party forum member.

I thought Slot 1 was defensive and slot 3 was other, but I could be mistaken.
However, I rather like the idea of everyone having different hire numbers, rather than everyone having the same hire type, as aforementioned.
As anonymous games have just started, I'd rather wait a bit before introducing anonymity to Experiment games, especially ones where people have to follow a certain rule, specific to a player, like this one. Ones like westward expansion or Specialized combat can be easily played anonymously.

Right, I can explain this. Like I alluded to before, the order of the specialist categories is consistent. However, the order is different depending on whether you're looking at future hires or current hires.
For Future hires, it goes: Other, Offensive, Defensive
For Current hires, it goes: Defensive, Offensive, Defensive.
They just mirror the order across the axis of the screen, so it looks like the order is random, but it's not.

So if I have hires coming up in the order, "Princess, Thief, Sentry," when those hires come up, they'll be in the order, "Sentry, Thief, Princess."

I really wasn't aware of this until you guys started talking about it. Cool! Something tells me this is all spelled out at the wiki.... Gonna head over there now.

  • I have one question here: you said hires are for as early as possible. Does that mean that you must schedule hires for the future? Or is it as soon as you open the game again you must hire? Because I think that there may end up being discrepancies over when people hire and if they are hiring quickly enough.

I'm going to assume that you don't have to hire into the future, just as long as you hire the number given to you for that round of hiring.
Maybe you want to save a hire so that you can promote a specialist with a global ability that could turn the tides of battle-king, general, engineer, admiral.

  • I am assuming you can prompts a specialist you have as well instead of hireing but do you keep your number from this round or do you get a new one? I.e. If promote a smuggler to a tycoon instead of hireing an intelligence officer. Next round do you hire the next "other" specialist or get a new number?

Not late at all! I can still add you for the second game (first and second game players are balanced out to make equal size games)

  • Waiting is beneficial because if you have a promotion, it allows you to choose between two specialists and a promotion. So if you want to promote, wait a cycle to maximize planning.

Except that you have to pick the first one first.
