Next qualifier is up!

please boot Mimiz and DeathKnight from the current qualifier. those are multibox accounts (one player using multiple accounts). i just disabled those two accounts, so if the game starts with them in it, they'll just be dead players that can't take any actions, other than maybe actions that were queued up prior to me deactivating them. not sure. either way, best to boot them

to be fair, there was no explicit rule against this until today, so it could just be a misguided player who was not fully aware of what they were doing.

but as of now it's part of the Code of Conduct we added to the rulebook. we're also showing a "Code of Conduct" tab above the "email us" tab for all players who have yet to complete at least 3 games. hopefully that sets the right tone.

here's the code of conduct, for easy reference:

NO JERKS: Harassment, hate speech, abusive language, and any other unsporting behavior is not allowed.
NO MULTI-BOXING: Players are allowed to have multiple accounts, but may not to play in the same game with more than one of them.
NO MULTI-GAME DEALS: Agreements with other players may not span more than one game.

Is there anyway we can get a waiting list going or something? I'd really love to give this another go, but I keep missing it.

Oh boy... I just called someone an ***hole a couple days ago. Won't do that again lol.

I know what you mean. I almost missed getting in myself and I knew when it was starting. Games have been filling up within about 6 hours.

Sadly, I think that this will be the last qualifier game. This was a tournament that was being run for the duration of the beta and that time is coming to an end.

For those that haven't spotted it yet there is a release date set for the 15th of October.

In terms of the King of the Hill I believe that this round will be completed before that date so there will be at least 1 more Elite game following the completion of this round. However, there will be no need for another Qualification game if there is not going to be a further Elite game.

champ, thanks for running this thing! both this and the tournament that you (or was it fate?) ran were great experiences, and it's likely we will add a play mode based on these to the game after we launch.
